Support in One Place
On May 2, 2026, the Northern New Jersey Veterans Stand Down brought veterans, National Guard members, service providers, and community partners together at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne.
The all-in-one resource fair gave attendees direct access to organizations offering practical assistance, information, and referrals. Instead of navigating support alone, veterans could speak face to face with providers ready to help.
Partners Working Together
The Stand Down demonstrated the value of strong local partnerships. Government agencies, nonprofit organizations, veteran advocates, and volunteers shared one space and one purpose: making services easier for veterans to find and use.
NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders was grateful to take part, meet attendees, and strengthen the provider relationships that help New Jersey veterans receive the support they have earned.
