A Night of Honor at The Brownstone
On June 10, 2026, the veteran community gathered at The Brownstone in Paterson, New Jersey for Women Veterans Appreciation Day — an evening dedicated to honoring the courage, dedication, and service of the women who have served in the United States military.
Hosted in partnership by YWCA Northern New Jersey’s Operation Sisterhood, Catholic Charities Diocese of Paterson, and NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders, the night opened with the presentation of the colors and the national anthem, setting a tone of pride and gratitude.
Celebrating Service and Community
Throughout the evening, honorees were recognized for their service, guests shared in heartfelt remarks, and the room came together in appreciation of the women veterans at the heart of the night.
From longtime supporters to first-time guests, the gathering reflected a community united behind a common purpose — making sure those who served are seen, celebrated, and supported.
